@arstechnica there's no such a thing as #AcademicMastodon. Unfortunately. It seems to me even that there's a trend that academics leave the #Fediverse, in favor of #Bluesky very likely. At least there is an increasing number of inactive profiles.

They'll learn slower. But just wait until the enshittifacion starts on Bluesky.

Everybody knows Bluesky is the same centralized sh*t in a different color. But 1 million flies can't be wrong, can they?

mastodon is the way to go.
