Quick Gaza Verified update:
I’ve been coding up the new automated verification call signup and scheduling process in fits and bursts while traveling this week. It will launch on Monday.
The new process automates everything but the video calls themselves which @joynewacc and I will continue to carry out ourselves.
The new process is informed by what we’ve learned in the past month and a half in running Gaza Verified; both to improve the process itself and to safeguard Joy better.
As part of this change, I’ve integrated Jitsi into the process and we’ll no longer be using Signal for this purpose (this is not due to a shortcoming of Signal but because it cannot be embedded and used in the same way).
I’ll update you again on Monday, when the new process is live and ready to accept interview requests.
