@bruvduroiu @wjmaggos sorry, I don’t know quite know what you mean by “Mastodon federates with Threads”. The way I would describe that is Mastodon the software allows servers running it to federate with Threads so people on those servers can follow accounts there. But many block Threads for precisely the reason you give (myself included…).

But even if they chose to do so with either Threads or Bluesky for entirely whimsical reasons I don’t really see why that would be objectionable or mean that they don’t understand the internet or decentralisation?
