And... our co-founder @michael is making the trip across the Atlantic to be there - that's over 7,460 km!
We wouldn't make these trips if we didn't believe in the Open Social Web and how it can be used to better the world.
In particular, Michael is looking forward to meeting all the amazing faces we speak to regularly online in person.

The thing which makes #Mastodon (and the whole #ActivityPub ecosystem) so good is that it does the network part so well.
On today's #InternationalDayOfFriendship, we want to take a moment to thank the people who have helped and supported us over the past two years.
With your help, we have been able to help grow the Open Social Web. We've raised awareness for alternative social platforms across the UK. We've built and developed tools to encourage community building. We've stuck to our mission of knowledge sharing.
It hasn't always been easy. Thank you for keeping us going 🧡
