You know, it's kinda crazy that I find a service pattern of "only on Sunday before Christmas, Sunday after Christmas and Ascension" in SNCF data and the part I feel weirded out about is that France gets their Thursday-after-Easter holiday two weeks before (most of) the rest of Catholic Europe. Probably don't have to dodge processions to get much anywhere on that day, either
