#Fediforum Videos are up!

Missed @ben's keynote at this year's @fediforum? Here's the full transcript. "The opportunity right now isn't to build a better Twitter or to provide a nice place for people who care about Linux to chat: it's to build infrastructure that vulnerable people can actually use to organize, to communicate safely, and to build community. But we can only do that if we're building with those communities from day one, not building for them based on our assumptions about what they need."

Here’s my writeup of #FediForum (the openings at least). Loved the message of @ben’s keynote — everything big starts small — and I was impressed by the fedi products showcased: @altstore ( @rileytestut), Bounce ( @quillmatiq, @snarfed.org), Frequency ( @jesseplusplus), CrowdBucks ( @reiver) & more. Let’s keep this energy going! Thanks @j12t & @anca for the great event again. https://thenewstack.io/everything-big-starts-small-building-open-social-web-apps/
Very nice writeup by @ricmac for The New Stack on what happened at #FediForum this week, and why the Open Social Web (should) matter to #developers.

#FediForum was great (and exhausting) as always!
Really missed out on having @news cover the event this year.
Their play by play coverage has always been a staple in my morning after debrief. How am I supposed to follow everything myself? Really makes you realise how valuable WeDistribute is for the Fediverse and whole Social Web.
They are our local news. If you haven't already, please check them out.

@ricmac thanks for the writeup! Love seeing the way fedi stuff continues to evolve each #FediForum . One little step at a time!

I joined the "LinkedOut" session today, put on by @BjornW , on day 2 of FediForum.
The session was about "building a decentralized, federated,
user-friendly, sustainable professional network application
supporting the needs of professionals, companies and recruiters".
It was difficult choice to make (to go to this session and not others) as there were many other interesting sessions at the same time!

I chose to go to the "LinkedOut" session because I had already been working a bit a Fediverse app for professionals.
...
What I have been working on is is a front-end for other Fediverse back-ends.
But, it presents a user-experience appropriate for professionals.
...
But, more on the "LinkedOut" session at FediForum —
